“I remember hearing Blinding Lights for the first time and thinking, wow this is my generation’s ‘Take on Me’, and I couldn’t get it out of my head for like a week afterward. When we were throwing cover ideas around, it hit me that the melodies in the song would translate really well to guitar, and after I got the song stuck in everyone else’s head for a week, we all agreed that this could be something special.”

Blinding Lights is our second cover of the year and Wade’s personal pick of the 3 covers we’re releasing as a series.
We went back to our roots of creating a super organic, personal feeling music video to match this latest single. We felt we needed to make something that was highly sharable, given this is our FIRST EVER cross-genre cover.
