Dancing in Tokyo is quite obviously all about our love for Japanese pop culture and scenery. Before we even released our last album, Inviting Warfare, we agreed we would only make a music video for this song if we could actually do it IN Tokyo or Japan.
A year and a half later when we finally returned to Japan, we did exactly that! But instead of trying to MAKE a music video, we simply documented the fun things we did over there. Things like eating crazy food, walking around the world’s busiest streets, and of course, performing our shows.
So this music video is more like a documentary, a memoir if you will, of our trip not just as a band, but as friends.
See us as we go from show to show, perform, practice, eat, walk, eat some more, and… you get the idea.
