Welcome to “Inviting Warfare the Video Game”!

For those that don’t know, we created an entire album launch experience for “Inviting Warfare” in which we built a game based on the album by using “Dreams” on PS4 made by a company called Media Molecule. In it, we turned every song into their very own level built around the theme of each one. Inside, you can hunt to find purple gems (duh) which will share behind the scenes info about each song and the album as a whole. Once created, we filmed ourselves playing each level, finding all the fact, then ultimately editing them down into “music videos” for all the songs.

We previously kept these videos private, but now we’ve released them for all to see because it was just too cool not to share (not to mention the countless hours we spent on it). While we believe strongly that ALL the levels are worth viewing, you can see your favourite songs below and find out more you didn’t know about it!

Want to play through the album yourself? YOU CAN DO THAT TOO! Grab your PS4 controller and head on over to https://indreams.me/dream/mBaLMfcQTJq to find our world and experience the game personally!

An Invitation / For the Fight

This dark and spooky forest was created for the song “For the Fight” and is based on the place where we shot the official music video. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Not Like Before

This level was made for the song “Not Like Before” and features both a barren wasteland and a lush jungle, representing how much better life became when we began this musical journey. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Dancing in Tokyo

We created the entire solar system complete with iconic buildings from around our favorite city in the world, Tokyo. Jump through the galaxy with us and find out more about this dance-rock song.

If Only You Could See / What I Can See

Explore a vast ice plain and a rocky volcano with us on this level for “What I Can See”, representing the meaning of the song in which someone doesn’t see themselves the way they should. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Orchid

This weird and whimsical giant cake is the level for our song “Orchid”. It’s inspired by Bethany and Trevor’s wedding and all the different things they had there. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Storm Brewing

This vast and stormy dessert was built for the song “Storm Brewing” and features giant skeletons, sand storms, pyramids, and more! Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Change of Tides

For “Change of Tides”, we built out a handful of islands in the middle of nowhere while days continue to go by endlessly, symbolizing the feeling of being stuck. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Kiss the Ring

“Kiss the Ring” features a massive dreamland castle filled with riches and splendor, symbolizing how many people live only for themselves nowadays. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Hey There

For “Hey There”, we built a big cityscape that is bland and boring on one side, and bright and neon on the other. Similar to “Not Like Before”, it symbolizes taking a risk in life and chasing a dream and how much better life becomes from it. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Burn

Since “Burn” is an instrumental, we decided to go quite literal with the level and feature a large forest ablaze with fire everywhere. See if you can spot the different gems through all the smoke.

It’s Time to End This / Warfare

The most artistically conceptual of all of our levels, “Warfare” features a mirrored world and many objects that could be considered both good or bad. One side is white and heavenly, while the other is dark and desolate to help illustrate these facts. Watch along for some BTS facts about the song and how it came together.

Thanks for checking out “Inviting Warfare the Video Game”! We hope you liked seeing the levels we created and finding out more about how each song was created 🙂
