Clock Strikes
Compelled to cover a song and being whole-heartedly inspired by Japanese Rock, SonS released their first-ever cover song of one of their favorite bands, ONE OK ROCK. While the band considers this cover a “labor of love”, it actually turned out to be one that won many new fans that went on to love their original works as well.
Wanting to put their own spin on the song, lead singer and lyricist Bethany, translated and performed the vocals fully in English, as the original was a mix of English and Japanese. As they often do, they brought an orchestral string section to the song to up the ante as well, and add more energy to this Japanese power ballad.
